Founded on Ghana Independence day 2016, Gallery 1957 presents leading artists working across West Africa and the diaspora. It does through its gallery spaces in Accra and London, and via art fairs, off-site projects and publishing.

We developed a visual identity system and website for the launch of the gallery. We also designed invitations and catalogues for the first two years of exhibitions. The catalogues have a cropped belly band featuring a detail of the artist’s work.
