Established 25 years ago, Urban Spaces pioneered the sale and rental of lofts and other industrial-style living spaces in London. Acquired in recent years by Countrywide, the brand was in need of an update to reaffirm the connection with its original audience and mission.
We were engaged to devise a new visual identity for the brand. A key component of this is the U symbol which is inspired by the window fenestration of warehouse architecture. The counter of the letterform resembles a structural pillar which is a typical feature of these large, open-plan spaces.
